BITO-Lagertechnik is a medium-sized manufacturer of warehouse and factory equipment with a production area of about 140,000 sqm at two locations in Germany.

The dynamically growing company with about 950 employees works internationally. 21 subsidiaries provide functioning logistics solutions worldwide with their complete range of shelving, container, order picking and transport systems. A multi-shift organized production with a high manufacturing density at the two main locations requires a lively traffic of visitors and suppliers. The external guidance system planned and installed by Meng ensures a smooth flow of delivery traffic. A one-way road system leads to all hall gates of the production site, which has grown over the years through conversions and extensions.
The international orientation of the company and the conditions of the transport logistics require a bilingual signposting system that can be updated without great effort. The original signage from the Meng system "rohr + fläche" has been adapted to the new corporate identity of BITO-Lagertechnik and successively replaced by signage elements of the quintessenz system. Visitors are welcomed individually in the foyer of the administration building and at the company's own training center via screen steles, also from the quintessenz signage system.
